The Gujarat Industrial Development Corporation (GIDC) is a Government of Gujarat undertaking responsible for developing industrial estates and allotting industrial plots to eligible businesses for setting up manufacturing and industrial units.
GIDC generally allots plots through an online application process during public allotment windows. Applicants submit an application, required documents, and application fees. Eligible applications are considered as per GIDC’s prevailing allotment policy and procedures.
The base price of a GIDC plot is determined by GIDC and varies depending on the industrial estate, infrastructure, plot location, and category. In resale transactions, the market price may differ from the prevailing GIDC rate.
Yes. Existing GIDC plot holders can transfer their leasehold rights to another eligible purchaser after obtaining the necessary approvals from GIDC and completing the prescribed transfer formalities.
